I am in Cape Town for a few days at the end of February, any tips/contacts on hiring an aircraft there?

Unless something’s recently changed – if you don’t hold an RSA license (and if you only go for a few days, a validation doesn’t make sense), you’ll need to fly with an instructor. I’ve flown with these guys some years ago. It’s a beautiful little field in the vineyards outside Stellenbosch. That area is definitely worth a visit anyway, so why not combine the two?
