Any current, vaild tips for Restaurants
Ground Transportation to city-center?
The airport website is not that fruitful, except the info that PPR is needed ;-)
Thanks to all who can help :-)

Cycling, they hire the bikes at the airport, and it’s a nice 10-15 min ride. I’ve often taken my brompton, and the well humored ATC lets me cycle on the apron without radio or yellow beacon.
I think people don’t generally ask for PPR. I got complacent and only file a flightplan and never had issues so far, but also didn’t get there on real busy days, and normally don’t need long parking.
There is a very good restaurant on the field. To get into town you can rent a bike at the airport at the same time to check in with OPS. If you are looking to go there on a weekend, you may want to call ahead and make a reservation. It is also perfectly feasible to walk in to the city center, or you can take a taxi.
There are two routes to get into town. The direct route, or the more scenic route which more or less borders the airport and takes you through horse riding centers.
Le Touquet has one single main pedestrian street (cycling not allowed) (rue St Jean) around which most of the shops and restaurants are located. The beach is at one end (western). It is worth it to stray away from that street to the market and the big old casino/hotels and residential areas with some very nice buildings.
I would definitely file the PPR. The prior notice is quite short so not much of a constraint.
I got very fond memories of a very early walk around town (~6am) on a Dec30th (Flew back to the UK that day), while other passengers were sleeping:
Fresh Oysters are the best breakfast anyway!
I plan to fly there from Damyns Hall on the 13th August and stay for one night. Could anyone recommend a good hotel?
I like The Westminster – other choices are available.
