Saw EGHF being discussed in another thread and thought I’d make my own to share a couple of bits of info.
Fuel is circa 1.70 per litre. Guy comes round with a bowser and leaves you an invoice to pay by bank transfer when you get home.
One thing I found out recently is that a local rental firm, Fareham Self Drive (+441329 822334) will pick you up from the airfield to collect a car, and you can leave the keys with the guys in the tower when you depart – all for no extra charge. Did it for a minibus I rented on a club flyout. Very handy indeed.
With the recent reshuffle in management I really feel they will continue to come on in leaps and bounds, especially if the GNSS approaches and airfield café currently being talked about come to fruition.
