From the AIP/Jepp info, it sounds like the CAA authorization is not tied to a particular arrival/departure date/time, nor for a particular flight. That would suggest that one could obtain the CAA approval some time ahead, say a week or more, and then use and reuse it as necessary. Does experience tend to confirm that?
IIRC the CAA approval is time constrained. Once you have the CAA approval you must get PPR or whatever they call it, from the airports you intend to visit with arrival and departure times, origin and destination. And you need to include the CAA approval number in the PPR request. This is all described in the AIP
This is really straight forward. They are very friendly and accommodating. When I was in Ohrid I had to leave the airplane there for a few days (not planned), and when I came back for the plane, I postponed my departure yet another day. None of this posed any problem.
I recognize I m a bit lazy. But I search for fresh information and I was not able to find something.
This summer I plan to go to Greece from France. I ll do a stop over in Croatia and after to Skopje.
I did a stop over in Brac last year (really enjoyed it)
But my question is customs, how must I manage it ? My stop over will be in pula before Skopje. Do I need to ask for customs there.

Yes, you have to make C&I exit at LDPL when flying to LWSK. In addition, you have to get landing approval at LWSK from their CAA, register crew and passengers at some other service and get slot coordination approval from the airport. That’s info I got from LWSK yesterday. I’m stunned with over- complication they introduced and I’m still trying to solve this for my flight there next week. It’s beyond the imagination to what they turned this airport to. And the number of CAT flights is still negligible.
I planned LWSK in 2012 but didn’t land there in the end.

Crazy in 2012! It was for a trip to Greece, as a fuel stop in case of other trouble (LGSM – this is pre-fraport – not having avgas). I think I ran out of time sending in all the stupid documents.
Handling is now €100. The rest is the same and even a bit more complicated.

I was not aware about PPR, I read AIP carefully and I did not see mention of it. But if customs are needed I suppose PPR is also needed.
Last report on GA Airports is 2022 and configuration will be the same (I will fly a Mooney). My point was to go there because everybody was saying it’s an easy airport with the cheapest europe avgas. But if now fees are upper than 100€, it is a game changer.
It is fare easy for me to go to Ioanina which is cheap on landing fees but expensive for avgas. (I know well LGIO).
