Hello everybody.
I’ve been to Portorož few times.
Almost every time RWY 15 was in use while landing (once it was 33, I got a bit surprised and really had to descent fast), then RWY 33 was in use EVERY single time on take off.
Looks like I’m flying there again few times this season.
I’ve checked all I could, AIP, forums, uncle google and can’t find info what would be a pattern over there should RWY 15 be in use.
I do understand it’s left hand but what’s then? IFR plates show diversion to NW once overhead but I’m talking VFR.
Should it continue left hand overhead Piran and then back to 15?
I’d appreciate if anybody here could let me know.

I’ve only been twice, but done a few circuits on both runways. Circuits were always to the East, i.e. 15LH, 33RH. I guess, if manned, the tower will tell you anyway. For 15 downwind is along the ridge and base over the salt pans.
My first flight in Croatia was 10 seconds turning final on 33 :)
