VFR over class A in France?

Most low level class A airspace in France is now class D

I don’t agree. Paris CTR is rather tiny and not really a factor for transient GA. The problem is the huge Paris TMA and that one remains class A.

The only way I know of you have any chance of getting close to Paris is IFR between 3000 and 5000 during the approach to Toussus rwy 25, POGOs from Toussus to Pontoise or Le Bourget when easterly departures are in effect, or departing Pointoise to PTV (passing overhead Orly).

I have once had the chance to fly westbound between Le Bourget and Paris when on approach to Pontoise, and it so happened that it was on the hour , at night, and the Eiffel Tower was lit up as a Christmas tree. And even then I cannot remember having seen any traffic on the TAS600.
