Naughty, naughty… I didn’t really think they were recovering the real time radar feed (which must be billed at some 5 or 6 figures per year, for Europe, via this outfit) via their advertising.

Interesting picture but the raw data comes in every 15 minutes and the rest of the animation is the imagination of the software. If you look at this image now:
You see that the French data is missing for 10:00 UTC and the UK data is missing at 11h15 UTC. The software then generates a 15min fade out and a 15min fade in for that data.
V neat – but it does seem to be about 30 minutes delayed (at 11:23 GMT it stopped at 10:45 GMT).
