Avidyne Garmin Meggitt interoperability question

Hi Adam, according to Avidyne the answer is yes they will and that is logical given that the IFD540 is supposed to be a mechanical and electrical equivalent to the GNS530W. The GNS530W is cited as being G500Txi compatible.

But as the G500Txi units are new, they have not reached the Avidyne compatibility list but are expected to in the next 6-9 months.

I want the upgrade asap but without any affirmation in writing from anybody it seems a bit risky to do this install at the moment.
