I would be amazed if these things work, but what do you know? Most things are possible if enough money is chucked at it – at infrastructure in this case. Dubai is not short of money.

I don’t think anybody doubts one could build a quadcopter which can carry 1 person – say 150kg.

Could also be a grant harvesting scam. These are everywhere – not just the EU

If they actually go through with this and the system is heavily used, I imagine they’ll have to design an air traffic system with “sky roads” similar to that of Coruscant
