It’s winter and the weather is mostly poor for flying.
So, in anticipation of the better season, I thought I might start a thread on photos of the most beautiful beaches. Let me start with a few photos from where some of the nicest beaches in Europe are found… Scotland!
Crossapol Bay, in the south of the Isle of Coll.
My very favourite beach… Balfour’s Bay, in the southwest of the Isle of Mull. Inaccessible by car.
Beaches along the east side of Tiree. The airport is on the very left.
Iona, I believe.
Isle of Gunna, between Coll and Tiree.
Mull again, I believe.
Portugal
Black Sea Coast near Tsarevo, Bulgaria. Lots of small secluded beaches.
Primorsko Beach, near LBPR.
Long Island, NY.
Not really the season for both of them, but we can be looking forward to summer….
Here are a few from a flight around Ireland, with Dublinpilot, August 2015. Not all are accessible but that wasn’t a requirement
This one is the beach around the Citadel in Calvi, Corsica. There was some pretty good swimming there, off the rocks!
