Friedrichshafen/AERO 2014

Nope, 160HP Lycos. At least that’s what I remembered and what Aerokurier is printing.

Thanks Peter!
Here she is… Regarding the Eastern style cockpit, for some reason it just stands out that way in this one as well. I don’t know what it is, but it looks distinctly un-western (is that a word?)

Have to say, I kinda really like the RHS carpet ………

You mean these?

(Tu-154)
They are indeed a product of 1960-70s ergonomics research, but later on they were changed to a quieter blue:

I don’t have a reference but have understood that the Soviets did a study and determined that this rather garish shade of blue/green was the least distracting to the pilot. It certainly is distinctive. Douglas used something similar, I assume for the same reason.

Does anyone know why Russian and Ukrainian instrument panels are always this weird green? I’ve seen that all the way up to the AN-225.

Thanks, I had it on my computer but don’t have an image account anywhere, besides FB.
Anyway, “it flies” posted a video that pretty much sums it up. Looks like an interesting proposition, with dual Rotax and a better cabin than the Tecnam.
