hasn’t a lot changed since your last one ten years ago?
Depends on where you start from In many ways, not much. In actual operational procedures, yes e.g. satnav makes a lot of stuff much easier. Also much better wx sources, finally…
Hi Peter,
I would also be very interested!
Great idea @Peter ! I do hope that at least some pilots get motivated to fly abroad by such initiatives.
Personally, I do think a neutral presentation, which is suitable for all pilots around Europe, will be a very hard job. Most of the times we compare our standard situation with others. While a CAS transit for British pilots seems to be a “big thing”, it’s taken for granted in e.g. Croatia or Scandinavian countries etc.
I would be interested ! Thanks
Great idea!
Interested as well!
Interested. Thank you for the offer
As someone currently on the ground in Nummela, Finland after 3 hard days VFR flying I find there’s always something new to learn. I’m sure this plan would be beneficial and encouraging to UK pilots, most of whom (self included) haven’t been anywhere for two or three years.
Nummela by the way is Helsinki’s new GA airport after the disastrous and final loss of beautiful downtown Malmi last year.
See – there’s something new already. Now try ‘VFR flight plans to Holland’. Aargh! Note also military airspace use is Waay up on previous years.

Thank you. I also would be interested, particularly in differences from US VFR.
