German, back in Germany since 2012 after almost 20 years away. Picked up a US PPL/IR while living in California. Would love to fly more in Europe, but I’m not having much luck finding N-registered planes in my neck of the woods (Leipzig).

Re N-reg. airplanes for rent, my advice: don’t wait until something comes along. Life is too short. Buy one. You might need EASA papers sooner or later though.
