I can’t really see the benefit of this change. Would ATC be aware enough of the different climb performance etc. to distinguish between models and tart them differently?
Sounds like tinkering for the sake of it to me.
Will this mean that TRIN flight plans will be rejected shortly?

Under Socata you find Trinidad TC is now TB21 -
the TB-10 is TOBA
It is no longer “TRIN”.
It is now “TB20”.
I have no idea about the TB21… but apparently there is a number of TBxx IDs now.
