Complicated trip planning

Justine and I will be doing a trip around a few Greek islands in September (I will fly there direct from the Corsica fly-in). Given an opening hours timetable like the one below, is there a software tool which enables one to work out the order in which one could visit them, assuming 2 nights spent on each one? It seems that the order will be potentially different for each day of the week. Obviously it can be done by hand but I am sure there are tools for doing it quickly.

I guess such tools will be easy to implement when the AIXM stuff starts being extensively used. When you arrive in Mytilene we will check the schedules once more while drinking Ouzo and eating our famous salted sardines.

Digital NOTAMs, you’re talking about 2050?

Yes! To be exact, 31st of February 2050.

I think it will be – 8th Sep – Corsica – Corfu (or Brac) – Sitia – Samos and then (Justine is flying UK-Lesbos and getting a boat to Samos) “somehow” visiting Ikaria, Leros, Kalymnos and Patmos. Patmos is a ferry job, possible from Kalymnos only it appears. Then I fly back from Samos (full tanks) via Lesbos (no avgas there so just dropping off Justine who flies back to the UK) and then back to the UK on my own via 1 stop somewhere.

Obviously there is no tool which will directly process the notam text but I wondered if there is one which can work out a “path” through the data if manually entered into it. There must be project management tools for that.

Is that an AIRAC date?

Peter, what you really need for your Greek island trips is this.

No… a helicopter still needs the airport to be officially open

Helicopter? Airport? Surely, you jest!

In Germany, a helicopter is only permitted to land at airfields and heliports. Getting approval for a private heliport is almost impossible. Makes it kind of useless.
