Hi folks,
I have 2 x Dynon D2, one in the (for sale) Sting and one in the (new) RV6…both of them are now not seeing any satellites when plugged into the external aerial and on external power in either aircraft. I’m going to do a reset and check for software updates but in the meantime,
Has anybody else from the collective experienced this, could it be a GPS rollover issue from early April?
Thanks!
I have a D2 (and a D3 for evaluation).
Neither shows problems finding satellites (with the D3 being really slow compared fo the D2).
In most aircraft it is not necessary to use the external antenna.
Dynon also offers the service to repair your unit for 100 $ plus postage.
First thing you may try is to upgrade the firmware. My D2 works just fine.

Is this widely the case?
Thanks folks, I updated the software and will report back results…am currently at work :-(
Both work fine without the external aerial connected, but don’t pick up any satellites with it connected.
Weird, but workable…
Maybe the external antenna cable was pinched.
