I am considering installing a G3X Touch In my Rallye (on the FAA AML), but understand the unit is not EASA certified yet. Anyone have any idea when that process might complete?
At last years AERO, Garmin reps said they expected EASA certification by the end of the same year – so it is already overdue.
Garmin only gained the FAA STC at the end of March 2019 and based on the fun they had getting the non-TSO’d GFC500 through EASA, I wouldn’t have expected to see the G3X certified by the end of 2019. Hopefully sometime this year!
