Looks great. I find the idea of aviation regulator approval of a handheld to be somewhat amusing. Honestly, who will ever know?

It’s the same thing with certified avionics. If certified avionics guides you into terrain, you’re equally dead as with non-certified avionics, but at least you cannot be blamed
Peter,
Did you buy one? They now seem to be available from the usual US-shops.
I keep asking Gulf Aero but yesterday they said they are still waiting for stock.
I also have a friend in the USA who is doing the same. He’s going to buy it for me and ship it over.
How do you keep your data up to date? GPS waypoints and frequencies.
I think for emergency use that doesn’t matter. You would just call somebody up with the lat/long. You won’t be needing airway intersections while sitting in the life raft.
Purchased for €426, it’s waiting for me at AERO.
May I ask where you bought it?
€426 is a lot more than $395, even allowing for the usual…
I sense a business opportunity here….
How many are coming to AERO? If I bring over 7 of them, it will pay for the avgas, both ways
