I have some intermittent radio problems with my GTN650/750. When transmitting from P1 I neve notice any problems but the P2 passenger often reports that the transmission sounds totally garbled. It’s clearly an internal issue as the person I am speaking to at the other end never reports any problems. Sometimes this happens when transmitting on box 1, sometimes on box 2 and sometimes not at all!
It’s very baffling and I’ve not worked out how to try this in a logical and repeatable way to know what to do about it. Flying solo it’s just not a problem but I just don’t know where to start investigating?
Do you mean that you transmit from pilot position, and that the co-pilot does here the sidetone garbled, while it is clear to you? is it?
