Socata - the most expensive cheap screw ever?

Is anyone interested in sharing out a batch of these screws?

Only Australians can buy from Socata. All others have to buy via their dealers.

If they can be manufactured for 50 cents a piece, I am in for 100. Put up a kickstarter project.

$0.50 would need lots and lots. To get enough pilots you would need to demonstrate nuclear fusion and offer discounted share options

Yes I am interested in these screws.
I would say 50 depending on the price.
Thank you

At 50 per person there is no way to ever get enough people to buy the 1000.

Especially as anyone involved openly is going to be concerned about getting evicted from the Socata owners’ group due to a lack of loyalty

Someone suggested using Kickstarter but that’s a bit of time for me to work out how to set that up…

I need some of these.

Peter – did you go any further with this?

I have a “bun in the oven” on this but can’t talk about it presently

The proposal posted at the start, for 1000 screws, still stands. I am sure that firm can still make them. They are just not as cheap as I would like them to be. OTOH if 10k could be made, the price would plummet.

There is a guy in Australia who has found a company in the USA that can supply (make) these screws at a reasonable price. I’ll find out a bit more and advise.
