About twenty five years back a Rockwell 114 group of my aquantance had problems with a HSI system that was not indicating the compass HDG correctly.
A number of the big names in GA tried to fix it charged a lot and failed, Hary Lees who at the time was working out of the back of a van fixed the problem in about an hour.
Having met Harry a few times I am not surprised! However it doesn’t say much for the general state of the avionics scene in the UK, does it?
