Van’s price is with OEM discount and as with the Lycomings they supply, are sold on the proviso they are installed on an RV.
It is stated on the Van’s website, if I remember correctly.

I’d be very interested in how the mod process works out for you, if you don’t mind doing a writeup! Although a prop upgrade isn’t in my immediate future want list, it’s something I’d potentially be considering at some point in the future.
