I’m hoping to make this trip. I’ll be VFR from EDTF in an RV-12.
Likewise, from EPKP in a M20K.
Frustratingly I’ll be only 20nm away, but on the wrong island so half a day’s travel. Exactly the same thing happened a few years ago.

My co-pilot Stuart was able to scrounge up a few more planes for this LDLO trip! Two Katanas DEUMM and DEULL, along with an RV-12 N120LL revving our engines! The Freiburg contingent will be buying the first round of beers! ;) Three plans, six people from Freiburg EDTF-LDLO.
LDLO WX forecast for 4th + looks too bad today.
I suggest new date is 11th August.
11 Aug is good for me; I’ll put the weekend of Aug 4th into the “family” pool :)
