Almost exact one year after I ordered, the prop arrived yesterday. It would normally take 3-4 months, but one of Lonnie Prince’s main workers had been hospitalized, making a loong back log apparently. I tried to take some photos, but a simply cannot take any shots that shows the beauty of this thing. The finish is like the most expensive musical instrument, and the shape, particularly the way it changes foil, cord and twist is simply amazing. It will effectively change pitch from fine to coarse by several inches when the airspeed increases.
The prop is wooden fixed pitch with carbon fiber coating.
Love it
What is the aircraft, and engine?
Wonderful. The only (slight) disadvantage I see is the reflection of the sun when behind you. Nags me a bit with my prop.
The other side is matte, so no reflections
It’s for my Onex, the engine is ULPower UL350i
IIRC @LeSving is building a Sonex with a UL Power UL350i engine. Don’t remember if he mentioned anything about the prop.
