I have a customer in Trondheim and have been looking at popping up there. I can do it nonstop from Shoreham, even avoiding much of the N Sea (doing the curved route) but have almost never seen a solid gap of say 3-4 days of wx which doesn’t involve moderate to severe icing, and airline pilots confirm that.

Norway is tricky weather-wise with the mountains causing airmass lifting during the prevailing westerly winds. The southwestern parts have among the highest amounts of precipitation i Europe.
