Posted on FB by Shoreham ATC:
Shoreham are planning a fly in on Saturday the 19th October. Rough plans so far are £10 landing fee (£15 with breakfast for pilot and £5 Breakfast each for passengers). Overnight parking just £5. Just putting some feelers out so far. Strictly PPR due parking limitations. Any takers? More details soon.
Yes!
I am planning to be there.
Perhaps it will draw a large crowd of pilots if Peter promises to eat a UK Airfield Standard Fried Breakfast, surely only £5 for resident pilots?
I might come to use it as a fuel stop – planning to visit my kids in UK.
I posted this in another thread a few years ago:
I know I am biased (I am based there) but it really is a nice location

I have put lines of dots showing where you can walk from the airport.
The ones to the right, over the bridge, take you to the High Street where there are some nice restaurants and cafes.
The ones to the left take you for a scenic walk along the houseboats.
Either route takes you to the new footbridge which goes across the river, so you can make it a nice circular walk.
As you can see it is not very far – maybe 10-15 minutes out of the airport.
Yes, I am in, looks like a nice initiative, let see how much success it will have with the “boycott band”
I will try to do it too.
I’m interested.
May have a conflicting event, but would love to join in and meet you all.
I will try to come…
