Troyes, France, restaurant recommendation

The restaurant used to belong to a British pilot, may still be the case. Might give you a special rate if you mention.

If he is a new owner and not pilot, he will charge double I would start by asking him first

Thanks Gents.
I wish I were flying but I’m taking an old car to my house on Solta and leaving it there for the summer. The car wouldn’t fit in the baggage area!
Troyes is indeed a nice place to stop but I’ll be on a tight schedule so much as I’d love to join you on your trip Peter G I have a ferry booked from Ancona on 28th.

Forever learning

You’re acting like a proper Croatian islander

I mis-spoke. The HOTEL belongs(ed) to the Brit Pilot. The restaurant belongs to a Frenchman AFAIK.

For anyone worried about parking their car in France overnight, the hotel has locked underground parking.

I grew up in Troyes but haven’t been in the last 10 years.
So I cannot advise on restaurant but I can assure you that there will be some other dishes than andouillette. There will also be restaurant not serving andouillette.
