I will spend a couple of days in the area near Gnarp and wondered whether there is a chance to rent a Piper PA28, Cessna 172, or “similar” for some local flights to explore the area from above. Google didn’t revealed a flight school or flying club at these airfields, is here a local who has an idea?

There is a club at ESNN. Sundsvalls Flygsällskap ([email protected]) with a G1000 Cessna 172S.
There is also a club, Sundsvalls Flygklubb, at Maj airfield, about 20 km south of Sundsvall but they only have ultralight aircraft so they may be of less interest to you.
Ljusdal (ESUL) is more out of the way but is also a possibility. The fleet of its club, Ljusdals Flygklubb, includes a C172. They don’t seem to have an e-mail address but a phone number to the chairman of the powered flight section: 070-2610462. Judging from his name (Urs Butikofer) he is also Swiss.
