As a VFR only flyer, weather looking a little iffy for Siegerland….will see whether it picks up….
Just seen this… Training the new co-pilot takes up so much time, casually browsing forums is a distant memory at the moment. I’m sure I’ll get that time back when he gets his promotion from SO to FO and can organise his own “handling”, by feeding himself and his own septic tank emptying. 
He’s already flirting with all the ladies, so there’s definitely a budding pilot in him 
I’m already committed to a Europa Club meetup in south east France today. It would have been good to have seen you guys again. Next time

Yep looks like some low scud due to clear but we need to see how it develops.
So if it is still fog at the time I am due to depart c1100CET I won’t leave. Will advise.
If you watch the webcam at Breitscheid which is very close to Siegerland, you see the fog. I`m VFR only also on my Grumman.
