a dramatic set of pictures @etn!Love that last shot, with the occupants reflections, pretty cool
Thanks Dan! My friend in the backseat took them (I was busy flying in the front.) She has an eye to make great photos. I suspect she used a bit of contrast enhancement too ha ha. Still, the view up there was quite dramatic indeed. I love that reflections picture too (I am on the right side on the pic, by the way.)
Flew to Rost ENRS. Many thanks @Dan for inspiring me

Wow! Well done! Where from?
It reminds me I need to get around to writing my Norway trip report.
flew from EPBC to ESNM and then over to Polaris Control
Nice! Did you stay at Rost for a few days or just for the weekend? Did you visit any of the greater Lofotens?
I was not aware of ENEN, but looking at their website it seems a gorgeous place like the ones @Lesving keeps telling us about!
I am sure I overflew it two weeks ago!
Edited to insert a marker pointing at ENEN
Lofoten Islands is where Capt Nemo’s Nautilus met its end, in some huge vortex.
I guess I know what’s on your mind @Antonio
To my surprise the runway was packed with camper vans
For the rest of us, we are talking about the Værøy Airport ENVY
Absolutely gorgeous place on a heavenly island.

The whole flight was just a quick weekend get away from Central European heat. We flew for several hours between islands and enjoyed the views, landed here and there. The one thing that surprised me was how Avinor run airports consistently exceeded my expectations.

It’s a magical place and very close to several ILS equipped airports therefore no worry in case weather deteriorates.
