Always a funny story Peter, so are they married now?

On LeTouquet restaurants: this is my 4th time on this one but anytime I am going with a friend to L2K, I go to Perard, I pay for flight, my friend covers lunch, once I got one complaining that flying is an expensive hobby after finishing his lunch

Haha, no, he already was

You are right about Perard! But normally you can’t get a seat there.

Final to Heathrow 27L. Maybe a bit hot and high. Actually this was taken from my helicopter flight from Redhill via EGLL and the London helicopter routes along the river. A truly amazing flight, and luckily my son came along and took lots of pictures. We’re at 1000 feet right over the end of the runway.

We had hovered for a couple of minutes to make way for the Air Canada 767 that you can see half way down the runway.

Following johnh and AF “talks about size”, here is a runway that one can spot just need overhead Sierra reporting point south of ToussusLeNoble (LFPN), it’s 60m

On google map!

The story behind,

The paved runway at EPKP is a little longer – 80m. It is not mentioned in the AIP, but a good ultralight / bush pilot could probably make use of it. Word has it it’s been around 1960’s and was paved for some competition.

I’d use it for touchdown to avoid creating divots…
Otherwise not sure what I could do with 60m…
