Well, as EPBC is concerned we need to recognise that there are 2 distinctive categories of people talking to you from ground:
1. Employees of Home Office – they are owners and formal operators of this ex military airport.
2. People from the Warsaw air club – officially the club is just one of many airport users. Those folks will help you in anyway they can.
VFR traffic can be indeed dense there, but that’s in my opinion the essence of GA
I`m planning a flight to Wroclaw EPWR. Does anyone know if handling at EPWR is mandatory? The AIP is not really clear in this matter.
Today I asked the handling company at EPWR for a quotation, I received a quote for handling only about 135 Euro w/o tax for a C182.
This is outrageous from my point of view. Hopefully @aleksansee will read this post.
Dear OPS,
Standard handling for your aircraft price will be 135EUR net.

General Aviation – WRO/EPWR

FREQ: 131,500 MHz
Otherwise I`m thinking obout flying to EPWS Szymanow, any ideas?
I was there a few times and had to pay handling.
You may not pay handling if it’s just a fuel stop (nor ride to terminal). Source
Just received a quote for my planned trip to WRO/EPWR (all prices net)
It took me 3 days to get all the pieces together, emailing apparently to two different business entities – airport services (landing fee, passenger charge), handling (the rest)
65 EUR basic handling (just crew)
135 EUR standard handling
18.60 EUR landing
1.40 EUR parking per tone of MTOW and 24h
35 EUR departing passenger charge (using GA terminal)
plus some minor security charge and who knows what else…
Some items are really bargain, some standard, some surprising. Dealing with WRO could be a touch smoother, still professional though.
This seems to be by far the highest total of my limited larger airport experience (Dresden, Salzburg, Nurnberg) so the trip is postponed.
How much would the avgas cost have been on that trip?
Welcome and safe flights always ;)
Didn´t ask. Here´s what they say on their web about the fuel:
fuel EPWR
Direct handling link:
handling EPWR
Also one correction:
only 7.50 EUR departing passenger charge (probably using the main terminal)
Not giving up and planning for EPWS.

Fuel prices for all Polish airports can be found here: https://dlapilota.pl/wiadomosci/dlapilota/aktualizacja-ceny-paliw-lotniczych-na-polskich-lotniskach
It’s PLN 7,25 + 23% VAT, so EUR 2,09 per liter.

It´s in line with the official airport web info plus a fuel charge of PLN 162, i.e. EUR 38 per every 1000kg of avgas
All I was getting at was why cancel a trip due to the handling charge.
