I started PPL-training at 44, got my license within one and a half year and I am now 48 years old. Besides private flying I’ve became safety manager and theoretical knowledge instructor at our flying school (ATO).

PPL at 26 (1995), FAA IR at 32 (2001), EASA IR at 46 (2015), MEP at 46 (2015), IR at 46 and soon 47

PPL at 23, IR at 27, now 28.

PPL at 30, IR at 34, Now 35

PPL at 21, CPL/IR/Fz ATPL at 31 (all expired), now 53. Did not fly between 1999 and 2009.

Looks like there’s hope for me, still :-)

PPL at 22, fATPL/MEP/IR and CRI at 30, now 32

Started learning at 51, license (ultralight) at 55, turning 62 soon.
