I have the non US International coverage for the 430W/530W.
I seem to recall there was a split several years ago owing to the size of the database where you had to choose between full contiguous US or International rest of world.

Good morning Euroga,

Before I loose my sanity I thought that I ought to post here.

I’m trying to renew my nav data subscription for the GNS430W. I used to log on the Jeppesen website, pick up my avionics, sell a kid and update the GNS monthly using the JDM app and the little blue device.

Apparently Jeppesen got acquired by Boeing recently and their UX designer is either from another planet or I suddenly became blind – I can’t figure out how to purchase a new subscription online.

The closest I’ve found is this reseller: http://www.mypilotstore.com/mypilotstore/secp/304 but it doesn’t seem optimal. Garmin doesn’t have nav data for Europe afaik

Where do you guys source your nav data subscription from?

Blue skies,

William

Has your sub expired. Did you not receive a renewal notice?

If all else fails any Jeppesen dealer should be able to help you.

No I didn’t get a notice and I let it expire because I couldn’t use the Skybound device as their app wasn’t compatible with the latest mac os for a while.

I’ll get in touch with a Jepp dealer – all this seems unnecessary complex!

If you need help, give me a shout. It can be very simple :)

Garmin does do nav data for Europe, but I tried recently to find the Jepps version too, but was defeated by a website with large glossy pictures but sod all else! (Like most websites nowadays) Anyone have a link?

I agree that in 2019, it should be able to do it online.

Contact Jeppesen via mail (can take a few days to get an answer) or phone….there is a European e-mail and phone number. Let me know if you can’t find it.

Good luck! :-)
