In case anyone goes to Colmar, the lovely apartment I stayed in was this I could not recommend it more… I have the host’s mobile # and usually they appreciate direct bookings
I was glad to have brought the K1 camera, for its low light performance. 1.8kg but worth it, and my last one was 1.4kg anyway. I will post a few pics later.

The flight back was at FL090 all the way, VMC enroute. Departure into ~1000ft cloud, then on top at 6000ft (+4C), and arrival was down through more cloud, tops 5000ft, base 1500ft.
Colmar is really pretty. If staying for a few days one would do some trips e.g. there is some big castle nearby.
