Pleased to confirm the fly-in will be happening again this year at Bordeaux-Saucats (LFCS)
Provisional schedule
30/8 Evening : Arrivals + Traditional welcome drinks and BBQ
31/8 Morning : Arrivals
Afternoon : Wine tasting
Evening : Airfield Banquet
01/09 Morning : Lunch fly-out to Auch (or perhaps somewhere else this year)
Useful practical info
- Runway is 800m hard with all circuits to the east.
- The grass runway is only for based pilots
- Radio is blind calls in French only (usual proviso applies : see and avoid, and
don’t attempt French radio if you don’t feel you can do it safely).
Fuel
- Avgas available at 2 € per litre.
- Payment is either by cash or by the “Revolut” phone app.
- The app is greatly preferred, as it avoids me having to carry around huge sums of cash.
Transport
For a modest contribution, I will arrange all transport to and from the airfield/hotel via various means (car/minibus/uber etc).
As usual, this remains entirely optional, and I can also arrange a hire car for anybody who would prefer this.
Accommodation
I would suggest pilots reserve one of these three hotels :

2. IBIS Styles Villenave d’Ornon
3. Chalet Lyrique Gradignan
