Also nobody can usefully forecast 6 days ahead.

I hoping for saturday as well and hoping the forecasters are way off ;-)
It would appear that again flight plans to EDNY are being suspended, as last year, for some reason. Last year it was the ETA not falling within the booked slot, or not having a slot.
Check your paperwork is correct.
I hear they are conducting ramp checks as well.
